Hot List Q & A
Websites for Science

Hi,
I just started (yesterday) teaching ESL science in grades 5-7. I am pushing in co-teachand provide in-class support. I have only a small amount of experience teaching science. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for free websites that can help me plan how to modify lessons for ELL students. Right now we are working on Nutrition, gr 5 and the Environment grade 6. I am not sure about grade 7 yet.
Thanks,
Maria

I've found Brainpop ( if your district has a subscription for it) and the following useful -Sheppard Software's Kid's Corner for life science and Chem4Kids for physical science.

All the best,
Joyce
