  • Honor fourth grade, eighth graded, high school and higher education scholarship winners. Come and acknowledge the awardees of the President’s and Leadership Awards for their exceptional dedication and contributions to the children in our programs as well as to our profession
  • Listen to a keynote address during the dinner
    Professional development hours will be earned for the keynote address

Publishers' Exhibits

  • Open from 7:30 AM to approximately 5:00 PM on Tuesday and until 4:00 PM on Wednesday in the Garden State Exhibit Center
  • Raffles will be held at various times throughout each day in the Center. (You will not have to be present to win, but you must return prior to closing to collect your prize.)

Ample free parking at the Garden State Exhibit Center and Double Tree parking lots

Professional Development Hours

NJTESOL/NJBE is a New Jersey registered provider. Participants will be able to earn professional development hours each day, depending upon their attendance at the seminars and workshops offered at the conference.

Accommodations

  • Rooms for overnight stay for conference participants at the Double Tree Hotel, Somerset at the special conference rate of $154. Reserve before May 1, 2008. Their number is 732-469-2600
  • Mention your attendance at the NJTESOL-NJBE Conference to get this special rate.

Public Transportation:

  • Take Amtrak or NJ Transit to New Brunswick. From the New Brunswick train station you can take a cab or county bus "Dash" directly to the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset. The contact number for Dash is 908-704-1011. There are no public bus lines that come directly to the hotel.
