Call for Workshops

NJTESOL/NJBE invites you to participate in its Annual Spring Conference.

 Workshops, Demonstrations, Papers, Seminars

Research and Poster Sessions may be submitted for presentation.

Presentations by teachers and other educators are welcome.

With approval of their district, teachers may apply the time of the presentation to their 100 hour continuing education requirement.

*Rental fees will be charged for the videotape player and monitor, but NJTESOL/NJBE will provide the easel/chart paper/markers and overhead projector free.  Screens are supplied for every workshop.  Presenters may bring their own equipment or make arrangements directly with the hotel for the rental of equipment not listed, such as LCD projectors and computers, or for telephone and Internet connections.

Presenters’ Registration Fees

Registration fees will be waived for a maximum of three presenter(s) per workshop on the day of the presentation. However, every presenter will pay a minimal presenter processing fee on the day they present and may attend the second day at a reduced rate, so please do not send in a regular registration form until you receive notification as to the acceptance or non-acceptance of your presentation.  More specific information will be provided once a presentation is accepted for inclusion in the conference program.

Workshop Summary 

On a separate page, prepare a typed presentation outline of 250 word maximum. Include your name and the title of the presentation. Describe what you plan to do and what the participants will do during this session. 

Program Description

In the space provided below, type a description of your presentation. This description may not exceed 50 words and will appear exactly as written in the Conference Program Booklet. Please, be specific.
