Registration for the
2025 NJTESOL/NJBE SPRING CONFERENCE
We are excited to inform you that our 2025 Spring Conference has two components to choose from:
In-Person Conference – May 20, 21, & 22 – Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
Hyatt Regency Hotel, New Brunswick
OR
Video Library Conference – Access starting on May 27 through August 21
Presentation topics will include: General Interest, Content Area Instruction, Bilingual/ESL Pre-K through 12, Higher Ed, Teacher Ed, Adult Ed, & K-12 Administrators, Dual Language/Biliteracy. This will give us many opportunities to provide high quality professional development to everyone.
In-Person Conference – You can register to attend 1, 2 or 3 days at the Hyatt Regency Hotel choosing from many different presentations each day, see relevant and exciting keynote speakers, obtain the latest information on state and national initiatives, and visit our Sponsor & Exhibitors booths. Keynote speakers start at 8:30 AM followed by workshops until 3:45 PM each day.
Video Library Conference – You register to have access to a select collection of library presentations on demand from May 27th to August 21st. Please note that the select collection of presentations will not include the Keynotes or Special Invited Guest Speakers. There will be no Q&A.
Professional Development Hours
NJTESOL/NJBE is a New Jersey registered provider. PD certificates will be distributed by email.
In-Person participants will be able to earn professional development hours each day they check-in and attend.
- You MUST check-in with a photo ID each morning (between 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM) you are registered to attend to obtain your color-coded name badge. This will verify your attendance each day. (If you are registered for more than one day and do not check in each morning to receive your color-coded name badge, you will not receive PD hours for the day(s) you do not check in.)
- At the end of each day you checked in, you will receive an survey email. You must complete the survey.
- Once you complete the survey, the PD certificate will be automatically generated and sent in an email.
Video Library participants will be able to earn professional development hours for each presentation viewed. Your time viewing will be tracked by your personal login. You can earn PD hours from May 27 through August 21..
Early Registration runs from September 6, 2024 to January 31, 2025 (at 10 PM)
Regular Registration runs from February 1, 2025 to April 25, 2025 (at 10 PM unless capacity has been reached)
There are three ways to register: (forms and links available on next page)
- Paying with a Board Approved/Signed Purchase Order: You now have 2 options to choose from once you fill out the printable form.
Choose one: UPLOAD or REGULAR MAIL.- UPLOAD – Use the Spring Conference Purchase Order Upload Form link to upload the board approved/signed PO and registration form(s). Please inform your district office about this link.
One PO and accompanying registration form(s) per upload.
If using more than one PO, each PO and accompanying form(s) must be uploaded separately. - REGULAR MAIL – Mail in the registration form and board approved/signed PO to the address on the registration form.
- POs and registration forms are NOT ACCEPTED BY EMAIL.
Please notify your district on how to submit your registration.
- UPLOAD – Use the Spring Conference Purchase Order Upload Form link to upload the board approved/signed PO and registration form(s). Please inform your district office about this link.
- Paying with a Check: Personal check or district check.
You will need to use the printable registration form and mail it with a check to the address on the second page of the registration form. - Paying with a credit card or PayPal account: You will need to have your credit card or PayPal information ready when you fill out the online form. This form is ONLY for those paying by credit card or PayPal.
Registrations will be accepted until April 25, 2025 (unless capacity is reached prior to that date.) Dates and rates are firm. Please plan accordingly to account for school processing time and regular mail.
You will be able to register online separately for the President’s Awards Ceremony which will be held Wednesday, May 21st at 6 PM.

Please carefully read the following important information about registration:
- There is no on-site registration.
- Once registered you cannot change the “type” of registration.
- POs and registrations form are NOT ACCEPTED BY EMAIL. They must be uploaded using the Spring Conference Purchase Order Upload link or mailed.
- Splitting a registration is NOT permitted. In-Person registrants will be required to present photo ID when “checking-in” each day of the conference. Video Library registrants will be required to use their personalized login that will be supplied by NJTESOL-NJBE just prior to the conference.
- Registration forms and PO (or check) must be submitted together. Registration forms submitted without payment (check or an actual board signed/approved PO) will not be processed, considered, or used to hold a spot. POs submitted without registration forms will not be processed or considered. Requisitions or just PO #s are not sufficient.
- $40 Processing fee for cancellations – No cancellations/refunds after April 25, 2025
- (All cancellations must be in writing and sent to business-admin@njtesol-njbe.org by April 25th.)
- $25 Fee for changes in payment processing
- Registration closes on April 25, 2025 (unless capacity is reached prior to this date)
- A one-year NJTESOL/NJBE membership is a gift of the organization to all paid conference attendees. If you are already a member, your membership will be extended for one year from your date of expiration.
- Continental breakfast and lunch are a gift of the organization and not included in the registration cost.
Confirmation of Registration and Email Address: Email confirmations will be sent out to all registrants as they are processed. You MUST supply a legible email address. Watch out for this email. This email will confirm your registration AND your correct email address. Please remember that many districts block outside emails. If you do not receive a confirmation email, contact business-admin@njtesol-njbe.org to check your registration status. Do not wait until it is too late. Registration deadline dates are firm.
Conference Schedule & Website: Just prior to the conference you will receive an email inviting you to the conference platform, Whova, where you will find specific information on how to log in, set up your profile, and plan which presentations you would like to attend.
