CALL FOR WORKSHOPS
NJTESOL/NJBE Virtual Spring Conference 2021 – May 25, 26 & 27
NJTESOL/NJBE invites you to participate in its Annual Spring Conference.
- Workshops & research may be submitted for presentation.
- Due to the nature of a virtual conference, we have decided to have two different types of workshop offerings:
- Scheduled Workshops & Library Workshops.
- The first type, a scheduled workshop, will be a 30-minute pre-recorded workshop followed by a 15-minute live Q&A with a moderator. The first type will have a specific scheduled day and time slot during the conference in which you must be present. You must feel comfortable with technology recording your workshop then running your Q&A session.
- The second type, a library workshop, will be a 30-minute pre-recorded workshop that will be in our conference library for participants to view at their leisure. You will not have a scheduled time or day. You must feel comfortable with technology recording your workshop.
- Preference will be given to proposals that reflect the conference theme.
- If your current submission is approved, NJTESOL/NJBE will supply guidelines and information you will need to record your presentation. We have also engaged a company to help our presenters to do the pre-recordings.
- If you were scheduled to present at the 2020 Spring Conference and wish to have the same workshop considered for the 2021 conference please contact Sandee McBride conference-coordinator@njtesol-njbe.org or Gwen Franks business-admin@njtesol-njbe.org prior to the November 15th deadline.
- QUESTIONS? E-mail Sandee McBride conference-coordinator@njtesol-njbe.org
- We thank you in advance for your interest in participating in our conference and your diligence in completing the proposal form.
